ONE WEEK AND COUNTING

A blog? Zoe is writing a blog? WOAH.

Anyways, this is going to be my way to let everyone at home know what's going on while I'm traveling around the great country of Germany.

As you can see from the title, there is exactly one week until we leave! I could not be more excited. I talked with Mr. Darlington (one of the teachers on the trip) about it today, and he had great things to say. He told me that they have Doner Kebabs there! For those of you who don't know what that is, it's this huge stick of meat that is roasted and shaved, served with a yogurt sauce. This dish is famous in Turkey, probably my favorite place from my trip to Europe last summer. I was very excited to hear that they had it there. He told us about the different types of houses in the area we will be staying, and my friend Andrew told us about how the stereotype about loud Germans is absolutely correct. I told him that I should fit right in. :)
Tomorrow night is our last meeting before the trip and we are going to finalize the last minute details and go over all of the little things.
