We went over all of the little things about the trip including the revised itinerary, proper etiquette for being with the family and around the guides, what to bring, what not to bring, and what to give as gifts to the host family.
We also got the list of all of the host students, and I was happy to see that most of the students that came here are hosting as well. I think there are only two or three students that I don't know. I'm sure by the time that the trip is over, I will know them a lot better.
I talked with Jakob today, too. He mentioned something about going swimming somewhere (it's really cold there right now, so I'm not really sure where he plans on going swimming) and about the Doner Kebabs that I mentioned yesterday. He promised me that we would be having them at some point. I was very happy about that.
All in all, the trip is finally starting to feel real. I can't believe that in exactly one week, I will be in Germany!
