IN WHICH I ATE ICE CREAM THAT LOOKED LIKE SPAGHETTI

Walking around the town with Björn and Jakob was really cool. We walked into this huge (well, they think its small, but to any American, it's HUGE) church, and then through the middle of the town with its cobblestone streets and brick buildings. We saw the boy's primary school, and then we continued to what was sort of like a smaller version of Target where the boys made Richard (Björns host kid) and I pick out Haribo candy. They wouldn't let us pay. It was really sweet of them. I got the coca cola flavored candies and a pack of Mowams which are Finn Harries' (YouTube star) favorite candy. They are basically the European version of Laffy Taffy. It was a very cool store. Jakob promised that we would come back and spend more time there.
After that, we went to the ice cream parlor where I had the coolest ice cream. I told Jakob and Björn to pick me something from the menu that was their favorite. I ended up with a dome of ice cream that was in the shape of spaghetti, covered in strawberry sauce and some type of shaved nuts on top. It was really really cool and I'm sure I will be able to get back there. It's not like what we have in America where you go up to the counter and order there. I mean, you can do that, but most of the kids don't. Björn and Richard got some type of candy bar ice cream Sundae thing, both of which looked equally delicious. Jakob got some type of sundae with fruit that was more of a pile of whipped cream with a side of ice cream than anything. I was told numerous times about that ice cream and I absolutely know why.
After a little bit more wandering, we went back to Björn's house which was so quaint and brick covered with a perfect little garden, that I was shocked when, just like Jakob's house, it was all chrome and new looking with geometric shapes and fancy color schemes. I had some bubbly water, which might be my favorite European drink besides their fresh orange juice. The boys put on Avatar, but Richard passed out within a half an hour, and I kept falling asleep and waking up again. Björns dad offered to drive Jakob and I home because it was raining and I was very tired.
I met Jakob's dad, Günter, and his sister, Hannah. They seemed very nice. I didn't stay to talk for long though, because I went upstairs thinking I would take a short nap. This was at about 6:45 their time. I was like "okay let's sleep for an hour, do dinner or something, and sleep again". Well, my alarm didn't go off. I woke up about an hour ago and everyone was asleep and my door was closed. I feel really bad for falling asleep so early, but I'm sure they'll understand.
Well, I should probably go back to sleep, because its 11:20 here now. Tomorrow is our first real day of touring! Yay! :)
Auf Wiedersehen!
Zoë :)
P.s I have to get wifi on my iPod so I can put up pictures. I will try to do that tomorrow.
